What is the process for Invisalign fittings?
- Appointment 1- the Dentist will check and examine the teeth, take x-rays and pictures of the teeth.
- Appointment 2 – PVS impressions are taken, this will be used to produce the Invisalign aligners.
- Appointment 3 – the Dentist will advise if Invisalign are required and go over and confirm the Invisalign treatment plan.
- Appointment 4 – The teeth are prepared for the fitting, cleaning etc. Then the Invisalign are fitted to the teeth. Once the dentist is done they will give you a pack with all the information regarding your new Invisalign fittings; how to take care of them.
- You are then required to go for check ups, the first being 4 weeks after the fitting.
